The “Cold” Tea Party

I’m going out on a limb to say that some people could see this as a Tea Party affiliated site. They couldn’t be more wrong. While I do applaud the Tea Party in their efforts to rally the American people back to commonsense values it is all a bunch of talk in the end. All bark, no bite.

What good is the Tea Party if they allow themselves to get pushed around and intimidated by Leftist thugs? The Tea Party will need foot soldiers in order to keep their movement alive or else they’ll be scared away because they fail to realize just how fickle the American people can be.

Let’s face it. The Tea Party went from piping hot to stone cold after the recent elections.

Oh sure they had a big impact on the 2010 midterms, but really are we that better off? Only a handful of freshman Tea Party elected congressmen and the Democrats still control the Senate. I don’t blame the Tea Party though. I blame the very fickle Independent. However I’ll save the fickle tirade for another time.

Allow me to explain why the Tea Party isn’t going to go to far. The obvious reason is that after the midterm elections it seems the movement has lost its steam. Sure they still hold protests at Town Hall meetings but they lost a lot of their bark and pulling power. The President and his Communist ilk goes out of their way to make the Tea Party out to be a bunch of racists and even has the incompetent Department of Justice to have any Leftist brawl against them go unpunished. I won’t go on the kool-aid wagon of Liberal Queen of Botox Nancy Pelosi to declare the Tea Party as Astroturf, but whatever grassroots they come from, the roots aren’t real deep. The roots need to grow deeper or it’ll wither and die and it’ll sure be Astroturf then.

“But Kane I thought you were part of that crazy Tea Party?”

Very funny, comrade. Simply put the Tea Party simply does not lean far enough right for my liking.

Let me switch gears for a moment to explain what kind of Right I lean to.

The typical dimwit from both left and the so-called right are wrong about what the far-right should be because they’re all looking at a different scale. Fascism and Communism or any type of “-ism” of that sort is all on the same coin. They all originate from the left side of the political spectrum and just as well Fascism and Communism are the opposites of the same coin. Far left is total government control, total neglect of individual rights and liberties and the total disregard of opposing view points as it encourages a single party system in the end. The Far Right to me is the total disregard to the status quo, the leftist mindset that the government is the master while really the government is the problem to all things. The Far-Right would embrace a true Confederated state, true representation where you’re not tied down with a single or two party systems and a lobbyist free political structure. There is no state, only the people because the people knows best.

Would all that make me an anarchist? Not necessarily. Government, as George Washington has said, it is a “necessary evil.” Total anarchy is just as bad as total government control. I prefer far less government than we have currently which is bordering upon a corrupt socialist police state.

“Ok but you’re still one of those backwards-thinking Conservatives.”

Cute, but seriously it is the Left that is backwards.

The Tea Party is supposedly conservative yet something tells me a good portion of the Tea Party still does not get it. There is another reason why they won’t last long. You still have many Tea Partiers that preach small government like keeping its hands off healthcare but on the same token they don't want things to change to their security especially among the elderly. From that it is apparent that they’re not completely practicing what they preach. If they want their social security it will need to be privatized, not ran by the Feds. Again some Tea Partiers don’t see the fine line between Nanny State Socialism and Liazze Faire. Or not to use a French word, true Conservatism.

So if the Tea Party wants to survive they'll either grow a backbone of a steel rod and get their roots deep as an oak tree's or they'll wither away like the grassroots movements of the past to be overran by a very organized political minority. Remember what happened during the Bolshevik Revolution? Read your history for as true Conservatives do, the truth has no agenda of its own only to be embraced or be left alone for others to lead their own way out of ignorance.
