I'm fairly new at this blogging business so new posts will be slow as I learn the ropes. Everything here is a work in progress.
A short-ish introduction about me and the blog:
The American Pendulum is a political blog of sorts, which I'll hopefully break the PC barriers and tell the issues as it is without sugar coating the facts and not giving a damn about the feelings of thin skinned critics.
If you have gathered by this short entry, yes this is a conservative blog (and congrats for those who have noticed) and yes this blog will be offensive to some and a choir to others. I aim to misbehave (politically), I deliberately offend, I strive to crack wise, I boast to be unafraid and I dare the rabid left to shut me down. I think it is time for right leaning, conservative and independent minds to stop kowtowing to the status quo of the lamestream media or letting liberal blather mouths get away with brazen rhetoric and vitriol against the conservative right. (For those who have challenged these leftist zealots, I salute you!)
I am a young American who has recently became politically aware of the direction this country is going in and I have to say disturbing isn't a kind enough word for it. Granted I'm not a political expert but I know enough to mean what I say that the country is steadily going down the crapper in a one big epic Socialist flush.
So what am I to do? What are we to do? Well...I don't have the solutions or the answers but perhaps the best thing either of us who are true Americans can do is talk about it then find the answers. So why not start here?
